奄美、加計呂麻島。

亜熱帯の深い森と豊かなサンゴ礁に囲まれた嘉入。

その小さな集落で、この島の夜光貝をメインの素材としたジュエリーを制作しています。

壮大な自然の中で、生き物の声や香りに包まれながら、命がもたらす日々の変化に立ち止まり、その新鮮な感動と面白さを形にしています。

Kanyu; a tiny settlement embraced by the deep green subtropical forest and the rich coral sea.
In this small village full of nature, we make handcrafted jewelry out of great green turban shells caught as a blessing in this coral sea.
We put their liveliness, uniqueness and our joyfulness into shape as we are touched by the sound of living creatures and the scent of greenery around us.

二人の作家でつくる創作スタイル。

イメージした者とそれを形にする者との二人でひとつモノを作るのが主です。

それはとても難しいようでもありますが、時に、おのおのが予想してもいないモノが生まれたり、作品の最終地点はどちらにもわからない、私たちの面白い遊びのようでもあります。

アシビゴコロのアシビ（asivi）とは、島の言葉で言うところの遊びという意味です。

A fun-loving artist duo creating handicraft together.
Our products come into shape as the craftsman embodies the inspiration and imagination shared by the designer.
This may sound hard to imagine. However, it even brings total amazement beyond our imagination from time to time. In a way, our work is always like an incredible journey full of our playfulness.
“Asivi” in “asivigocoro” means “playfulness” in the local Amami dialect.
